Andi began her personal training journey in 2018 when she studied and passed her ACE (American Council on Exercise) personal trainer certification exam. Shortly after, she began her STOTT Pilates instructor training which has played a crucial role in her training approach. Andi completed her STOTT Pilates exam in early 2019 which led into working with clients with various fitness backgrounds. She specializes in core development and muscular balance, but also has experience in strength training and improving cardio. If you are looking to begin your fitness journey or if you want a physical challenge, Andi can design a plan so you can meet your goals!
Helen has been an ACE certified personal trainer since 2014 . Long before then she'd been a group fitness instructor and had always felt that she can help women accomplish even more of their fitness goals with her one-on-one help.
Helen wants to break the myth that personal training is one size fits all and is only needed if weight loss is required or bikini body is desired. Personal training can be so much more! It's all about having a knowledgeable and encouraging professional helping fulfill a health and fitness need. And that can be anything from simple learning about strength training to getting back into the swing of things after an injury or surgery (after physical therapy rehab is done) to finding the right exercise regimen for you whether you're 25 or 65 to even just taking the guess work out of workout sessions and having someone by your side leading, motivating and keeping you accountable. I had a total hip replacement. The surgery went well and I was out of physical therapy six weeks after. I continued with my PT exercises at the gym but I was going no where fast and I really wanted to return to my Zumba classes, hopefully 6 months after surgery. Helen felt that I could come back sooner with some help. I decided that it would be in my best interest to try, with Helen's guidance, to build the strength and confidence to go back to Zumba sooner. Helen and I have worked hard and she has given me challenges that she knew I could handle and has helped me rise to the occasion. She has tailored my training each week to increase the challenge to my muscles and assigned homework to keep the training momentum going.
At almost 18 weeks after having the hip replacement I surprised myself by doing a Zumba class almost all the way through. Thanks to personal training with Helen, I was able to get back to Zumba two months earlier than originally planned!
I got back to the gym this summer after pandemic shutdowns but felt I wasn't working out hard enough or in the most effective way.

I did personal training with Helen and it changed the way I view exercising. Working out isn't just about looking good, but about feeling good and being fit.
